What's Included
- •The Snail Mail Trail is my community connection passion project—receiving Happy Mail from around the country to senior communities.
- •This is NOT a penpal exchange program. You will NOT receive individual letters back in return.
- • This is simply a way to send something good into the world.
- •Receive your monthly Snail Mail Trail envelope with a new theme, directions & everything you need to participate for that particular month.
- • Get writing prompts and ideas to help you decide what you'd like to share.
- •Receive a little something to keep—a sticker, stationery, postcard, or another fun surprise.
- •Create your Happy Mail YOUR way. Write a letter, share a story, send a joke, draw something, or simply say hello from your city!
- •Send your Happy Mail back to my PMB (Personal UPS Box address). I collect the mail & deliver to a local nursing home for MAIL & MINGLE DAY!
- •I'll deliver the mail to a participating senior community for an organized special MAIL & MINGLE DAY!
- •Residents enjoy the mail TOGETHER—reading, sharing, laughing, creating, connecting. Participation by residents is ALWAYS optional. Residents are never expected to write back.
- •Your following month's mailer brings "the story" back to you with updates about MAIL & MINGLE DAY, what residents enjoyed, what they'd like to hear about next.
- •Your $15 membership helps make it all happen—covering your monthly mailer, postage, supplies, and the materials provided for Mail & Mingle Day.
- •Disclaimer: The Snail Mail Trail is a small business passion project, not a nonprofit or charitable organization. Memberships are not tax-deductible donations. You're not just sending mail. How it works
- •1. Each club is it's own recurring monthly subscription.
- •2. Choose Your Club. Subscribe here. Cancel anytime. You only subscribe ONCE to a club -NOT every month. You will receive monthly mail until you cancel.
- •3. Sign up by the 10th of every month and your guaranteed that month's theme.
- •4. Sign up after the 10th and the platform automatically locks in for the following month and next shipping batch.
- •5. Example: Sign up by August 10th, receive September's mail. Subscribe after August 10th, receive October mail.
- •6. MAIL DAY! Mail ships from St. Louis, MO on the 1st of each month (or earlier). Arrives within a few days to a week, depending on location and mail service.
- •7. Don't forget to thank your mail carrier! We couldn't do this without them!
