Welcome! You have found a way to bring physical beauty to your mailbox; beauty that you not only see, but feel in all senses of the word. AI is superseding us in many areas, but that is not a reason to go gently into the long, good night of creativity. "Artistic talent is a gift from God and whoever discovers it in himself has a certain obligation: to know that he cannot waste this talent, but must develop it." - Saint John Paul II. And so, here I am. Capturing the hidden epiphany of beauty brings me in contact with The Creator and author of all beauty. It reminds me that there's good that's worth fighting for, and I want to share that with others. You might wonder as to why I call myself, 'The Midnight Muser'. I've always been drawn to the arts, but I started painting when I was expecting my 1st. I had sleepless nights and creating art brought me peace. Fast forward seven years, and the nights have continued to be my time to muse. I have four kids, need I say more (I am sure all you parents out there can relate)? To sum it up, here's my dream: * To bring joy to YOU, * To create something that you can look forward to receiving in the mail, besides bills, * To bring back a slow-living, poetry and story-reading, art-loving culture, * To embrace the imperfections and love life. Ultimately, I hope that everything I create points towards God. If this sounds like your cup of tea (or coffee), join me in having original art, thought-provoking poetry/prose/short stories and the most beautiful bookmarks to share, so that maybe your family and friends will put down the screen and pick up that book that needs a bookmark. And may all of us have a topic of conversation around the dinner table about just how wonderful life, love, beauty and God is. Also, if you must know, my name is Monica. I am a Catholic artist who captures the beauty of things in a single moment. My art invites you to contemplate the mystery of God and His creation. In 2021, I published a collection of acrostic poems which is available on Amazon. Originally from Malaysia, I currently reside in rural Minnesota with my husband and our four children. Subscribe today and let's begin this journey. "Come, my friends 'T is not too late to seek a newer world." -Alfred, Lord Tennyson (Ulysses)
