Lettres de L'Atelier

Something in your mailbox that isn’t a bill. Hi, I’m Elisabeth. I paint animals with wings, because if we carry on like this, angels will be all that’s left. Once a month, you get a small break from the screen. A drawing I make just for this club, and a letter about the animal of the month, the symbols in my paintings, and the places where I find my ideas: the forest next to my village, old churches, quiet cemeteries. It comes wrapped in vellum, sealed with red wax. You open it, sit down, and for a few minutes there is nothing to scroll. In every envelope: a hand-signed A5 print of the drawing, with a certificate of authenticity a letter of about two pages a small surprise, made by me It gives back, too. €1 from every letter goes to a different wildlife organisation each month. I tell you who, and every few months I show what we gave together. €15 a month, postage included, anywhere in the world. Pause or cancel any time
